Maintenance Technician


Position Overview

A Maintenance Technician performs routine and preventative maintenance on both residential and commercial properties such as landscaping, painting, carpentry, and renovation to keep them in good condition. 


Preferred Qualifications

• General knowledge in electrical, plumbing and carpentry.

• Good safety habits.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Team player.

• Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills.

• Strong intrapersonal skills

• Ability to use an app on cell phone.

• Time management skills

• Reliable transportation required.

• Must have own tools.

• Knowledge of Greater Boston neighborhoods 


Job Description

Maintenance Technicians is someone who takes care of building and other properties by making repairs to keep the properties in compliance with the State Sanitary Code.


Their duties and responsibilities often include:

• Complete work orders assigned by office staff.

• Assess issues and provide solutions.

• Provide general maintenance for plumbing, electrical, A/C and heating systems, appliances, stairs, gates, fences, patios, railing, tile, flooring, carpets, interior/exterior lights, gas fixtures, door and mailbox locks, ceiling leaks and wall damage.

• Report major repairs to property managers and/or Maintenance Field Manager

• Input hours into Management System App

• Take and upload pictures to management system.

Groundskeeper


Position Overview

A groundskeeper, or laborer, is responsible for maintaining an aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor and indoor space at our properties owned throughout Boston. Duties include cleaning common areas, landscape maintenance and removal of trash and debris. Works closely with maintenance technicians and property managers. A great entry level position into the property management industry with opportunity to grow.

Job Details
